Dedicated to two men named Bernhard and Winzer, this postcard was printed between 1890 to 1945. Depicted on the front of the postcard is a marble sculpture by M. Schmidt of two Prussian men measuring about 43x29 cm. The sculpture portrays the first stanza of a popular song called Ich hatt' einen Kameraden, where the author's comrade was a fallen soldier. Inscribed on the base of the sculpture is the title of the said song. The text was written by Ludwig Uhland, a popular Prussian poet and literary historian.
