My little 1 ruble coin, It says the year '1898' on it and it has Tsar Nicholas II on one side and on the other side it has the Bird thing.
The bird thing could be the same eagle used in the Prussian coat of arms. The eagle on the coin looks like it is the same type of eagle used in Prussia and later in Germanic nations.
